Preacher Lawson

Preacher Lawson at Bricktown Comedy Club - Tulsa

If you like comedy that comes in fast, bright, and fully committed, Preacher Lawson is an easy name to remember. His stand-up first drew wider attention through season 12 of America's Got Talent, where his energetic, high-impact delivery made an immediate impression. That same momentum helped turn a club comic into someone audiences could recognize quickly: he was invited back for America's Got Talent: The Champions and Britain's Got Talent: The Champions, proof that his style travels well across different stages and crowds.

For a newcomer, that matters. Lawson's story starts with open mic nights at 17, then builds through steady work in Orlando's comedy scene before wins like Funniest Comedian in Florida in 2015 and top honors in the Seattle International Comedy Competition the next year. Those credits point to a comedian who has put in the reps, but the real appeal is simpler: he works in a lively, physically animated mode that makes the room feel alert. If you enjoy comedians who lean into timing, energy, and a direct connection with the audience, there is an obvious entry point here.

His Sunday, November 22, 2026 appearance at 6:00 PM at Bricktown Comedy Club in Tulsa gives Bricktown Comedy Club a sharp addition to the local calendar, especially for anyone browsing comedy shows around Tulsa and looking for a clear place to start.
