Riverdance began as a seven-minute Eurovision interval act in Dublin in 1994, now it returns to Chapman Music Hall on Thursday, April 22, 2027, at 7:30 PM, reimagined for its 30th anniversary as The New Generation.

This is Irish stepdance stripped of every distraction: no flailing arms, no wasted motion, only rhythm made visible. Composer Bill Whelan's score (Grammy-winning, genre-crossing) drives dancers whose precision borders on the impossible. Producer Moya Doherty and director John McColgan built something that refuses to stay in one lane, blending Irish tradition with international styles until the stage becomes a conversation between cultures.

You don't need to know the history. You need only to feel thirty years of evolution compressed into one night, performed by artists who've trained their entire lives for this moment. The music alone justifies the ticket; the choreography makes you forget you're sitting still.
