The Phantom of the Opera

The Phantom of the Opera at Chapman Music Hall at Tulsa Performing Arts Center

A night built around Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera has a different kind of pull when it arrives in a room made for large-scale stage work. At Chapman Music Hall at Tulsa Performing Arts Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this official North American tour stop lands on November 24, 2026 at 7:30 PM, bringing one of musical theatre's most recognizable titles into a setting that can support its sweep and detail. For a shared evening out, it offers plenty to talk about before and after the curtain rises.

Part of the appeal is how this production keeps the show's original identity intact while presenting it anew. Maria Björnson's design remains at the center of the staging, and the tour returns in a revitalized version shaped by the creative leadership associated with Harold Prince, Gillian Lynne, and the post-2021 revival team. That combination gives the performance a classic theatrical look with the energy of a current touring production, which is exactly the kind of balance that tends to draw people who like their theatre polished, dramatic, and visually distinct.

The current tour stars Isaiah Bailey as the Phantom and Jordan Lee Gilbert as Christine Daaé, bringing fresh voices to roles that have long carried the story's emotional weight. Chapman Music Hall is the PAC's largest theatre and is designed for opera, ballet, orchestral music, plays, lectures, and films, so the space itself fits the scale of the evening. If you and a friend want a reason to make plans around local stage productions, take a look at the ticket listings and see how this performance fits your night.
