The short answer

The official site announces September 30–October 10, 2027. Its hours table still shows the completed October 1–11, 2026 fair, so use it only as past information. Check for 2027 gate, building and midway hours before planning your arrival.

Tulsa State Fair hours: which schedule to use

Put your main activity first: indoor exhibits, midway rides or a scheduled show. Then check its opening and closing times for the date you choose. The detailed 2027 timetable is still pending.

Check each part of the visit separately: admission gates determine when you can enter; building hours cover indoor exhibits; midway hours cover the ride area; and individual shows or attractions have their own schedules.

The ticket-office timetable tells you when the office sells or redeems tickets. Expo Square’s administrative office hours are another separate schedule. Neither should be assumed to be the opening time for every fair gate or attraction.

Choose the activities, then the day

A fair visit can bring together midway rides, food, competitive exhibits, livestock activities and entertainment. Decide what matters most to your group before picking the arrival time. A ride-focused evening needs a different plan from an indoor-exhibit visit.

When the new program is available, check show times and attraction locations before choosing your arrival time. A meal break can fit between activities instead of becoming a last-minute scramble.

For a family outing, leave room for meal breaks and a meeting point. You can choose a few priorities without trying to cover the whole grounds in one visit.

Rides, wristbands and admission

Gate admission and ride access are different purchases unless a package explicitly combines them. The fair’s ride-pass page describes how its passes work, but read the year and terms before buying anything for the next edition.

The ride list is subject to change. Check the new list and each ride’s height and participation requirements before promising a particular attraction to a child. Some special rides or experiences may have separate terms.

Use the official ticket pages to compare the new edition’s offers when available. Check gate-admission inclusion, ride restrictions and any special exclusions before choosing a pass.

Food, exhibits and live entertainment

The food vendors, 4-H and FFA displays and competitive exhibits offer plenty to do alongside the midway. Check their locations and building hours so an indoor stop does not get left until after the exhibition hall closes.

The Oklahoma Stage concert page currently shows a 2026 lineup. Those performances have passed. Use the new program for future artists, start times and any reserved-viewing options rather than planning around the old list.

Official fair programming is separate from TicketNetwork listings elsewhere on this website. For another Expo Square event, use its own event and venue information.

Getting to Expo Square and parking

Expo Square’s visitor address is 4145 E 21st Street, near 21st and Yale. Choose the entrance that suits your planned activity and follow the current traffic directions on arrival.

Check the official parking page for the new edition’s paid areas, shuttle pickup points and traffic routes before choosing a lot. Save the route back to your vehicle along with the plan for getting in.

If an accessible space, passenger drop-off or special transport arrangement is important, contact the fair before traveling. Use the current grounds and guest-services maps rather than assuming every gate offers the same facilities.

More to see around Expo Square

The Golden Driller stands outside the exposition building and can be part of a visit when access allows. If you want to explore Tulsa beyond the fair, choose another attraction or a meal for a separate part of the trip rather than adding a rushed stop between scheduled shows.
