Beetlejuice Jr. - The Musical

Beetlejuice Jr. - The Musical at Liddy Doenges Theatre at Tulsa Performing Arts Center

A grieving teenager finds an unlikely ally in a mischievous demon who refuses to stay dead. Beetlejuice Jr., The Musical brings the frightfully funny story of Lydia Deetz to the Liddy Doenges Theatre at Tulsa Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 8, 2027, at 2:00 PM. This MTI Broadway Junior adaptation captures all the chaos and heart of the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon, scaled for a younger cast but delivering every bit of the wild, weird energy families love.

Lydia is strange, unusual, and obsessed with death, especially after losing her mother. When she and her father move into a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and one very enthusiastic demon named Beetlejuice, the stage is set for Netherworld pandemonium. Beetlejuice is described as a delightful demon with a real zest for life, and when Lydia asks him to scare away the living, he unleashes havoc you won't see coming. With music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect and a book by Anthony King and Scott Brown, the show mixes laughs, surprises and genuine emotion into one unforgettable afternoon.

This is live theatre that connects. It's a story about finding your people in the strangest places. See why Beetlejuice Jr. is the kind of show that reminds us all to embrace the unusual.
