Beetlejuice Jr. - The Musical

Beetlejuice Jr. - The Musical at Liddy Doenges Theatre at Tulsa Performing Arts Center

What happens when a teenager obsessed with death accidentally unleashes a chaos-loving demon? On Sunday, May 9, 2027, at 2:00 PM, Beetlejuice Jr., The Musical brings that frightfully funny collision to the Liddy Doenges Theatre at Tulsa Performing Arts Center. This MTI Broadway Junior adaptation turns the beloved motion picture and Broadway phenomenon into a live, shared experience you won't forget.

Meet Lydia Deetz: strange, unusual, grieving her mother, and about to move into a house haunted by a recently deceased couple and one delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia asks Beetlejuice to scare away the living, he doesn't hold back. He unleashes a Netherworld of pandemonium, and nothing is ever the same. With music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect and a book by Anthony King and Scott Brown, this show channels grief, rebellion, and the search for connection into something wildly entertaining.

You'll watch young performers command the stage, navigate death and life with humor, and remind you why live theatre hits differently. It's messy. It's heartfelt. It's the kind of story that lets you feel something real while laughing at the absurd. Bring someone who needs a break from the ordinary.
