Hayes Carll at Cains Ballroom

Hayes Carll brings his sharp, human-sized country storytelling to Cains Ballroom on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM. A veteran Americana artist with more than two decades behind him, he has built a reputation for songs that fold humor, humility, and heart into plainspoken insight. That mix gives this Tulsa date easy appeal for listeners who want music that feels honest, literate, and a little wry. With Cains Ballroom setting the scene, this show stands out as a strong choice for local concerts seekers who want to spend a Thursday night with lyrics that sound lived-in.

What makes the evening compelling is the way his catalog turns hard truths into something deeply human. We're Only Human, his current album, is new and out now, and it has been described as his most introspective and reflective work to date. That makes the set feel especially likely to connect with fans who value thoughtful songwriting without giving up the bite or wit that has long defined his career. Recognition from the Americana Music Association, a Grammy nomination, and recordings by Kenny Chesney, Lee Ann Womack, and Brothers Osborne all underscore a songwriter whose reach extends far beyond his own releases.

If you like Americana that leaves room for both a grin and a gut check, this stop on the We're Only Human Tour is an easy one to consider. Among Tulsa concerts, it stands out for listeners who value story-driven songs and a voice with perspective.
