Sammy Rae and The Friends

Sammy Rae and The Friends at Cains Ballroom

Sammy Rae and The Friends bring a sound that feels spacious, lively, and always in motion, the kind of concert choice that rewards listeners who like their genres to overlap instead of stay in separate lanes. At Cains Ballroom on March 16, 2027 at 7:30 PM, the singer/songwriter at the center of the group leads a live mix of classic rock, folk, funk, soul, and jazz that gives the evening a distinct musical personality. For anyone scanning live music events in Tulsa for something with both groove and range, this date stands out quickly.

Part of the appeal is the group's own self-image. They frame themselves as family-first rather than a conventional band, which fits the way their music can feel open and communal without losing a clear front person in Sammy Rae. Their profile also reaches into soul, funk, indie pop, and jazz fusion, so the sound has room for warm vocals, rhythmic drive, and enough melodic shape to keep the set engaging from song to song. That blend makes the show easy to recommend to listeners who want a night of music with substance and movement.

There is also a solid background behind the name. The group released its debut album, Something For Everybody, in 2024, following earlier EPs The Good Life and Let's Throw a Party. They have also played major festivals, including Bonnaroo's main stage, and toured across North America plus the UK and Europe, which speaks to how far this project has traveled on live energy and word of mouth.

If you like concerts that mix musical polish with a flexible, inviting sound, this is an easy one to place on the calendar. Explore the ticket listings for Sammy Rae and The Friends at Cains Ballroom and see how it fits your plans.
